Sparkling Clean
We have finished the shower room in our gîte! For such a tiny room, it took us a long time especially for all those little finishing tasks...
The tiles are grouted and polished, the mirrors fixed to the wall, the mug-holder and hooks put up, the fan installed, the lights refitted, and the old painted cow loo-roll holder is now replaced on the wall. Re-hanging the heated towel rail was a right struggle - the fixings always were less than ideal.
The window and door frames are picked out in blue and the door given a fresh coat of 'blanc cassé' and a new peg-rack for dressing gowns.
A new shelf for towels completes the look.
All sparkly clean and new.
two necessary new drills.
But it looks fab and we are proud of it.
That's it - no more DIY! (for a while)
