Living and Building a home in the heart of France

Leaping in L'Isle-Jourdain
For a change we went to L'Isle-Jourdain for its Saturday market and possibly the best boulangerie in France (tough competition!), pausing for a very welcome coffee in this café, followed by a browse around the maison de presse.
The town sits by the wide river Vienne with two impressive bridges. The 40 metre high viaduct built in 1885 was today the venue for leaping off with only a bungee rope to keep you alive. Only the young with no sense of the frailty of life and limb are having a go. Good to watch, though!
How high must that feel!
