Living and Building a home in the heart of France
11th October 2006
Taking advantage of the cooler weather, we've been busy in the garden. First, a post for the washing line...
and 2 bird tables from scraps of MDF and battening...
We bought a trailer-full of off-cuts from the woodyard, and made a fence panel at the back of the garage, to screen the dustbin, the wheel- barrow and all those scruffy garden essentials.
An impulse-purchase arbour finally got constructed and planted in the corner of the garden. 24 hours later the wind had skewed it to a jaunty angle, so Tony re-planted it, this time in concrete! Now the kiwi plant has somewhere to grow, having suffered the summer in a pot.
The sheep are busy too...
(thinks... keep off, this one's mine..) Like the smile on his face!
