Last weekend, we gave the bedrooms their second coat of paint. The guest room, which will also serve as the study and computer room, is given 'ravish', a lovely mauvy-blue. As it's a north-east facing room, and a bit on the dark side with just one window, the colour's on two walls only, the rest being fresh bright white, the colours to match my first patchwork quilt. All the paint came from Leyland Paint, brought over the last time we went to the UK by car.
The short hallway gets the same 'spearmint' colour that we used in the studio.
Our bedroom has the traditional white on the ceiling, and 'soft glow' on all the walls. Sometimes it's the colour of crème Anglaise (custard to you), at other times it's pale banana yellow. We love it.
We spent this afternoon sanding the walls (again) in the living room, dining room and kitchen, after the last sockets have been installed and the seemingly necessary holes filled.
