Interior Walls 3
This week we have had workers here on site every day, and I mean 7 days even Sunday! As a result things have progressed tremendously. After the electrician came the dry-liners (another Turkish team) who have put up the insulation and plasterboard.
....then around the outside walls of the house.
All the cables from the junction box in the garage to the rest of the house have to go behind the kitchen wall.
The doors come prepainted, hinged and already in their frames so they are easily fitted. The internal walls are made of ticky-tacky..... actually two sheets of plasterboard connected by cardboard webbing! The men fix lengths of timber to strengthen the corners.
The loo, before it's back wall is finished.
First in the studio....
