Life in the heart of France
8th July 2012
The annual Artisans market in the streets of Le Dorat on a warm sunny afternoon. The stalls sell such a variety of things, it's always worth a good browse. We sampled some sangria and aperitif nibbles, bought pain au chocolat and a healthy plant for the garden. Hand crafted jewellery, artisan breads and macaroons, local wines and so much more.
Sangria and nibbles on offer.
Peruvian hand-knitted cardies, African woven baskets.
My favourite corner of Le Dorat. This house near the Collegiale is decorated with a profusion of potted blooms every summer.
Local lavender being tied into bundles for selling.
