Limousin Living
Life in the heart of France
4th July 2012
Bloomin' Lovely
It's probably all the rain we've had, that explains why the flower garden is bursting with life and colour this summer. Of course it's also Tony's hard work with propagating, potting on and planting out with a healthy dose of compost and horse-poo that also has a positive effect... Whatever, the garden is delightful.
The 4th of July is the eight-year anniversary of us giving up being wage-slaves and saying goodbye to salary (and mortgage!).

To celebrate, we went to the Gartempe restaurant, and enjoyed sweetcorn cakes, vegetable crèpes with mustard sauce, and white chocolate parfait. It certainly was parfait.
